| Fjord Horse International is an international association founded
by Norges Fjordhestlag, and is under Norwegian Leadership. The goals of the association
are extension of breeding, use and further spread of the fjord horse.
In the statutes of the association is fixed, that every year a breeding
comference has to take place. Questions of breeding goals, interpretation of the
breeding plan and the international coordination and aknowledgement of the
studbooks shall be discussed. Every interested breeding organisation is invited
to take part in this conference, members of FHI or not.
FHI organises courses for judges, gets selling horses with special
demands, e. g. therapeutic horses, gives advice on selection of breeding horses. |
